Our pedelecs have a motor power of 250 watts. The motor supports you up to a maximum speed of 25 km/h.
To prevent manipulation of the motor power or maximum speed, all models produced from 2024 onwards have been equipped with new, tamper-proof software.
Throttle Option:
This electric bike also features a walk assist function, allowing you to move the bike at a speed of 6 km/h while pushing it.

The unique design of the LX 500 brings together the three most important factors for us: comfort, durability, and ergonomics. The frame geometry we developed allows for an optimal seating position during both short trips and longer tours. The reinforced construction ensures safety, and all vibrations and shocks are distributed to make the ride as pleasant as possible. By placing the motor at the correct angle and the battery at the bottom of the frame, we’ve achieved excellent balance. You can count on the LX 500 to ride safely and confidently, and its fully integrated frame battery is sure to impress and surprise.
The assistance system of the Ecobike LX 500 is an intelligent organism. The Ananda® mid-drive motor generates 130 Nm of torque, allowing the bike to tackle even the steepest climbs. The potential is very high, but the user decides how they want to ride, and the intelligent system, which monitors their movements, adjusts the bike’s operation for smooth performance, long durability, and a natural riding experience.
Exceptional performance cannot be achieved without advanced energy supply. The Ecobike LX 500 is powered by 48V LG® batteries equipped with a Smart BMS that intelligently manages the battery to keep it in good shape for years to come. We’ve ensured that there’s plenty of energy available.
You’ll love the new, frame-integrated control panel with its updated color display. Equipped with a twilight sensor, it automatically switches on the bike lights in the dark. The user-friendly interface enables easy and intuitive operation, with many functions and configuration options available for electric assistance.
A new feature is the ability to pair the display with your smartphone. This allows for convenient personal adjustments – and with an optional subscription, the display can even show your navigation instructions!
At Ecobike, technological progress meets a passion for bicycles. The LX 500 is a proud example of this – in addition to proven technology, it must also feature reliable components. Traction is essential for a bike like this, and that’s ensured by the RST® OMEGA TNL suspension fork and Schwalbe® Big Ben Plus 28x2.15 tires. For maximum safety, we’ve used hydraulic Shimano MT400 disc brakes. The drivetrain of a mid-drive e-bike must be highly durable – in the LX 500, we’ve used a Shimano Deore model.
To ensure the LX 500 is ready to ride right away, we’ve equipped it with full lighting, fenders, a luggage rack, and a comfortable Selle Royal® saddle.

What is 3-D Secure and why is it used?
3D Secure is a security protocol for online credit and debit card purchases, known as “MasterCard Secure Code” or “Verified by Visa.” It protects your transaction with a personal password or a transaction number sent via SMS (mobileTAN).
How does the 3D Secure code work?
