The DARE Low Step 2026 is the brand-new generation of the DARE series – a premium SUV e-bike that combines everything our engineers identified as the best available technology. The result: an e-bike whose reliability is measured in generations.

At its core is the brand-new Panasonic GXM mid-drive motor – Panasonic's latest achievement with an impressive 100 Nm of torque and a performance characteristic that redefines the concept of a mid-drive motor. 250 W nominal power, 36 V voltage, CAN bus protocol for intelligent communication of all components.

The maintenance-free Gates Carbon Drive CDX belt (up to 20,000 km lifespan) runs completely silent – no lubrication, no wear, no complications. Combined with the robust Shimano Nexus 5-speed hub gear, specifically engineered for e-bike use and particularly resistant to higher loads, you get an exceptionally comfortable and reliable riding experience.

The huge LG battery system (17" with 900 Wh, 19" and 21" with 1008 Wh) to the new EN50604 standard enables ranges up to 180 km. The Panasonic NKS518S colour LCD connects via the Panasonic e-Bike smartphone app and supports Komoot navigation.

Premium safety: The innovative Spanninga GLOW STOP rear light with Emergency Stop function automatically brightens when braking – increased visibility for following traffic.

Genuine deep step-through frame for effortless mounting and dismounting, hydroformed aluminium, SunTour XCR34X-BOOST air suspension fork (120 mm travel), 27.5" Schwalbe AL GROUNDER tyres, Shimano MT401 hydraulic disc brakes, integrated LED lighting, MIK pannier rack, Velo VL-3625 comfort saddle – all standard.
