Our pedelecs have a motor power of 250 watts. The motor supports you up to a maximum speed of 25 km/h.

To prevent manipulation of motor power or top speed, all models produced from 2024 onwards have been equipped with new, tamper-proof software.

Throttle Option:

This electric bicycle also offers a walk assist function, allowing you to move the bike at a speed of 6 km/h while pushing it.

The unique design of the MX 500 combines the three most important factors for us: comfort, durability, and ergonomics. The new frame geometry allows you to adopt an optimal position for both short trips and longer tours. The reinforced construction ensures safety, and vibrations and shocks are distributed to make the ride as pleasant as possible.
The great new look is also largely due to the hidden cables in the steering column.

The assistance system of the Ecobike MX 500 is an intelligent organism. The Ananda® mid-drive motor generates 130 Nm of torque, enabling the bike to conquer even the steepest climbs. The potential is very high, but the user decides how they want to ride, and the smart system, which monitors the bike's movements, adjusts its operation to ensure smooth performance, long life, and a feeling that is as close to natural cycling as possible.

These exceptional capabilities wouldn't be possible without an advanced power supply. The Ecobike MX 500 is powered by 48V batteries equipped with a Smart BMS that intelligently manages the battery to keep it in good condition for years.
You now have two battery options to choose from, both powerful: 15 Ah with 720 Wh and 20 Ah with nearly 1000 Wh! We've made sure that you won't run out of energy – neither on your planned journey nor anywhere else in the world.

You’ll love the new, frame-integrated control panel with its updated color display. Equipped with a twilight sensor, it automatically turns on the bike lights in the dark. The user-friendly interface allows for easy and intuitive operation, with numerous features and configuration options for electric assistance.
Also new is the ability to pair the display with your smartphone. This allows you to conveniently make personal settings – and with an optional subscription, the display can even show your navigation directions!

You can conveniently pay with Visa, American Express, or MasterCard. You only need your card number, expiration date, and CVV code. We will charge your card automatically after purchase. Refunds are processed quickly for returns.

What is 3-D Secure and why is it used?

3D Secure is a security protocol for online credit and debit card purchases, known as “MasterCard Secure Code” or “Verified by Visa.” It protects your transaction with a personal password or a transaction number sent via SMS (mobileTAN).

How does the 3D Secure code work?

After entering your card details, a window prompts you to enter your SecureCode or mobileTAN. Upon successful entry, the payment is confirmed. If you haven't used 3D Secure before, you can register during checkout. More information is available on your bank’s website.
